Foscarini River wave cake recipe-Rijecni valovi kolac



This is one very old,very traditional cake recipe.
Story telling that this cake was favorite at Hapsburg Dynasty Holiday Table!
Mix of butter,vanilla,dark chocolate and cherries gives this cake very special taste!
Make me happy to share it with you!

RECIPE:

Intergares:
  • 5 eggs
  • 13 tbs suggar
  • 15 tbs flour
  • salt
  • orange juice and grated peel
  • 1 pack butter/250 gramm/
  • 2 tbs cocoa powder
  • 40 fresh cherries
  • vanilla sugar
  • baking powder
 Integrates for cream
  • 1 vanilla pudding in powder
  • 1/2 liter milk
  • 6 tbs sugar
  • 200 gram butter
  • 6 tbs sugar
  •  
  • Integrates for glace:
  • 200 gram dark chocolate
  • 3 tbs milk
  • 1 tbs corn oil
As first mix butter and sugar in separate pot.
In big pot mix 5 eggs with orange juice and grated peel until you got cream,
than add mixed sugar and butter.
Mix it little and add flour and baking powder.
half of this  add in oven ,than in other part mix cocoa powder,this brown mix add on the top.
Now put in cherries every 2 cm.
Bake it in heat oven about 35 minutes at 180 Celsius.

 In meantime you can prepare vanilla cream with 1 pudding and butter/be careful pudding have to be cold when you add butter!

On the add goes chocolate glace.
Serve it cold!!!

Homemade Bread in pics














R HOMEMADE BREAD
You need:
  1. 1 kg of farina tip 500
  2. 1 tea spoon oftea t
  3. 10 gram fresh barm
  4. 1 tea cup olive oil
Prepare:
  • Put in big pot farina
  • add salt and mix it
  • add dissolve barm/in warm water wit 1 tea spoon of farina,1 tea spoon of sugar/
  • mix it all with hands 15 min.
  • leave it on warm place
  • now make little breads
  • lave on warm place another half hour
  • bake it in warm oven for 40 min . on 200 Celzius

Croatian Traditional Pastry



On photos you can see chocolate rolls and Pastry with Fry Ham!Today we will learn how to bake pastry with ham!
Pastry with Fry Ham
You need:
  1. 1/2 kg of farina tip 400/brown-dark farina/
  2. 10 gram of instant
  3. 1 tea spoon of salt
  4. 1 tea spoon of sugar
  5. 300 gram of cut and fry ham
  6. 1 glass of warm water or milk
Prepare:
  • In farina add barm
  • mix it and add salt
  • add water or milk with sugar
  • mix it well with hands
  • add cut/in small parts/ fry ham/
  • mix it more 2 min.
  • put all on warm place for about half hour
  • bake it again and make small bolls
  • furl it in pan
  • wait for half hour and bake it on 200 Celsius for 20 min.
  • serve it warm or cold

Apple pie-Foscarini recipe




I think that i saw more than 1000 different apple pie recipe!I would like to share our traditional apple pie recipe!
APPLE PIE
Integrates:
  1. 500 gram of farina tip 500 or 550
  2. 1 pack of baking powder
  3. 1/2 tea spoon of sea salt
  4. 220 gram of sugar
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 220 gram of butter
  7. 1 lemon /juice and planed peel/
FILL:
  • 1 kg of apples
  • 300 gram of sugar
  • 2 table spoon of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tea cup of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tea spoon of Rum
  • 1 lemon juice
Prepare:
  • put farina in big pot
  • add baking powder,salt and mix it
  • add butter cut in small parts with sugar
  • add eggs and lemon juice and peel
  • mix it well with hands for 20 min
  • separate all in two parts
  • put one part in fridge
  • second part spread all over the pan
  • now add prepared fill
  • take first part of dough from fridge and scrub it on the fill/you can see how its look on my pictures/
  • bake it on 200 Celsius about 25 min.
  • cut it and serve

Baked Shark

This is very old delicious dish from the time of old Romans!
Whole my family love nice and very specific taste of shark meat! BAKED SHARK


Integrates:
  1. 4 nice ,big fillets of shark/about 1 kg./
  2. 1 tea cup of olive oil
  3. tea spoon of caper
  4. sea salt
  5. 1/2 lit of milk
  6. paper
  7. rosemary
  8. garlic
  9. parsley
Preparation:
  • Day before put shark meat in cold milk
  • Now wash meat,add sea salt
  • fold it in heat-resisting pot
  • add olive oil
  • parer
  • rosemary
  • caper
  • cover all with alum folio and bake it in warm oven for about 35 min
  • when shark is baking add more olive oil and cut parsley and garlic
  • serve it with potatoes

Lasagna con Broccoli

This is traditional dish ,very healthy and without fat and meat!
Lasagna Broccoli
Integrates:
  1. 1000 gram of fresh broccoli
  2. 1 pack of lasagna without eggs/or you can make it at home/
  3. 3 tea cup of low fat of sour cream
  4. 1 tea cup of Feta cheese
  5. sea salt
  6. 2 table spoon of flour tip 550 or 500
  7. 1/2 cup of olive oil
  8. 1 egg
  9. cut garlic and parsley
Preparation:
  • First clean and cut broccoli
  • spill broccoli with warm salt water and wait 5 minutes
  • now star with folding of lasagna
  • in pan add olive oil and first row of lasagna
  • add broccoli and sour cream sauce/you prepare this sauce with sour cream ,egg,feta cheese, little olive oil and flour-mix it well/
  • now again lasagna and broccoli with sour cream sauce
  • on the end you have to put lasagna cover with sour cream sauce
  • bake it in warm oven for 40 minutes
  • Serve with white wine!
